Refund Policy

Last updated: 24 June 2026 · Compliant with Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 (TKHK) and the Distance Contracts Regulation

1. Summary

Bunayorumum is a digital SaaS service; it is performed instantly to the user account once payment is completed. Under art. 15/1-ğ of the Distance Contracts Regulation, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content / instantly performed services. Even so, as part of our commitment to customer satisfaction we apply a 1-hour goodwill refund and, in the case of defective service, a pro-rata refund.

2. Right of Withdrawal Exception

Under art. 15/1-ğ of the Distance Contracts Regulation, "contracts for services performed instantly in an electronic environment, or for intangible goods delivered instantly to the consumer" fall within the exception to the right of withdrawal. Because the Bunayorumum analysis service is performed instantly after payment confirmation, there is no 14-day unconditional right of withdrawal under TKHK art. 48 for the package/subscription you purchase.

By way of the service agreement accepted at sign-up, the user accepts in advance that they have been informed of this matter and that, by requesting instant performance of the service, they waive the right of withdrawal. For details you may consult the Distance Sales Agreement.

3. 1-Hour Goodwill Refund

Although under no legal obligation to do so, because it prioritizes customer trust Bunayorumum accepts a full refund under the following conditions:

  • The application is made within 1 hour from the moment the payment is confirmed by Bunayorumum, AND
  • No analysis has been consumed from the purchased package / subscription.

For bank transfer / EFT payments, confirmation is done manually: your payment is checked and matched against the bank account statement (usually within 1-24 hours). The 1-hour goodwill period starts not from the moment you sent the transfer, but from the moment your payment is confirmed (matched) by us.

If both of these conditions are met together, 100% of the payment amount is refunded, within 14 business days from the application date, to the method by which the payment was made (Article 6). If the conditions are not met, no refund right arises under this item; however, the defective-service scope (Article 4) is reserved.

4. Defective Service (TKHK art. 8)

Where it is established, with reasonable documentation and explanation, that the service is defective for reasons such as a technical error, system failure, data loss or failure to deliver the promised features, the consumer's optional rights are reserved under TKHK art. 8 et seq. of Consumer Protection Law No. 6502:

  • Re-performance of the service
  • A reduction in the service price
  • Granting a reasonable period for the defect to be remedied
  • For the unused portion, a pro-rata (proportional) refund (calculated on the basis of days or the number of analyses)

Scope limit: The AI analysis (default Gemini; Claude for deep analysis and as a load fallback) is an AI-assisted, informational estimate; it is not a binding inspection, valuation or definitive price commitment. "Defective service" means a system / technical failure, data loss or failure to deliver the promised features. The user merely disagreeing with the result or assessment of an analysis that ran correctly and completely (e.g. not liking the price estimate) does not, on its own, constitute a defect.

Example: If, having consumed 10 analyses out of a Premium subscription of 60 analyses per month (or out of a one-time package such as the 30-Day Package), a serious system error arises and the service becomes unusable, the proportional amount for the remaining 50 analyses is refunded.

5. Cases Where No Refund Is Made

  • Used (completed) AI analyses — an analysis is considered "used" at the moment it is successfully completed and a report is produced, and falls outside the scope of a refund (right of withdrawal exception). By contrast, if the analysis cannot be completed for a technical reason and no report can be produced (e.g. the listing source being unreachable), that analysis is not considered used; your quota is refunded / restored.
  • Transactions for which the 1-hour goodwill period has passed — without prejudice to the defective-service right.
  • Gift card balances, invitation / referral credits and wallet balances loaded for promotional purposes — these balances cannot be converted to cash and cannot be the subject of a bank refund; they can only be used within the platform (plan, Premium Expert Review, additional-analysis package, etc.).
  • Cases where the account is suspended / closed because the user breached the Terms of Use.
  • Transactions where abuse such as fraud, multiple accounts, false payment notification or coupon exploitation is detected.

6. Refund Method

An approved refund is made in line with the method by which the payment was made. The payment methods currently active at Bunayorumum:

  • If paid by bank transfer / EFT: The refund is made as a bank transfer to the same IBAN holder (refund to the bank account).
  • If paid with wallet balance: The amount is reloaded to the wallet (refund to balance). The TRY equivalent of amounts loaded to the wallet in cash (via bank transfer / EFT) may also be refunded to your bank account, under the conditions of Article 3.

Payment by credit / debit card is not yet active (coming soon). When card payment becomes active, refunds of card-paid transactions will be made to the same card, subject to the provider's timelines (usually 3-10 business days).

Gift card balances, invitation / referral credits and wallet balances loaded for promotional purposes cannot be converted to cash and cannot be the subject of a bank refund; they can only be used within the platform.

7. Refund Application

You can submit your refund request through the following channels:

Including in your application the email registered to your account, the order code (e.g. BYM-A4F9), the reason for the refund (not mandatory, it helps us improve the service) and, where possible, a screenshot / document will speed up the process. Your application is concluded within at most 14 business days.

8. Invoice and VAT

This article applies to sales to consumers resident in Turkey: for these sales an e-archive invoice is issued and the amounts include VAT (20%). If the refund is approved, a cancellation invoice is issued automatically and recorded in the system. For customers resident abroad and for corporate (e-invoice taxpayer) buyers, invoicing and tax treatment are carried out in accordance with the relevant legislation.

9. Dispute Resolution

If your refund request is rejected or remains unresolved, under arts. 66-73 of Consumer Protection Law No. 6502:

  • For claims below the monetary limit set for the relevant year, you may apply to the Provincial/District Consumer Arbitration Committee,
  • For claims above it, you may apply to the Consumer Court.

For the current monetary limits you may consult the announcements of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Trade.
